Black Bean Soup

Soak beans over night in distilled water

Change the water and bring beans to a boil for 10 minutes. Then drain beans

and add new water to cover about an inch over the top.  Cover and Cook until tender several hours.

When the beans are almost cooked add:

1 diced onion

1 shredded carrot

1 large potato diced

1 stalk celery diced

cook until tender then add sea salt to taste.

If you like a spicy taste you can add cummin to taste.

You can make this soup as thick as you choose by adding more or

less distilled water.
