Soak beans over night in distilled water
Change the water and bring beans to a boil for 10 minutes. Then drain beans
and add new water to cover about an inch over the top. Cover and Cook until tender several hours.
When the beans are almost cooked add:

Food as Medicine
Bananas have two stomach-protective mechanisms. First, they help the stomach lining to produce a thicker mucus barrier to protect against stomach acids. Second, compounds in bananas called protease inhibitors can help reduce bacteria in the stomach that have been shown to promote ulcers.

3 cups of any kind of fruit drained
1 cup unbleached flour
3/4 Tbs. Rumsford or no aluminum baking powder
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup of rice milk or 1/2 cup rice milk and 1/2 cup juice from fruit

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil or flax oil
1/4 cup Tbs. apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. honey or a pinch of pure stevia
1 clove garlic
may add lemon if desired
then add: a pinch of oregeno, basil, garlic, onion powder, and extra salt
to bring out flavor.

Use Rice milk and mock chicken seasoning (I make my own) and
a little cornstarch to thicken and bring these to boil.
For dumplings: mix 2 cups flour, 1 Tbs. Rumsford Baking powder and
1 tsp sea salt. Then drop by tbsp in boiling water to make dumplings.
Add salt to taste

Old Fashion Gravy
1 1/2 to 2 Tbs. olive oil
1 heaping Tablespoon Unbleached white flour (Kroger Brand)
1/2 cup Rice milk to 1/2 cup water making 1 cup or all rice milk
